Council of Australian Secondary Tourism Teachers (SA Chapter)
is a professional association for secondary teachers of Tourism and Hospitality.

CASTT aims to:

• Provide a forum and common meeting ground for secondary Tourism, Hospitality and Vocational Educators

• Promote an improved information flow linking secondary educators with post school educators and trainers, government bodies and Tourism / Hospitality industry

• Allow for an expression of a common voice on educational matters in the interests of secondary teachers of Tourism and Hospitality, and greater co-operation and understanding between them, industry bodies and personnel from businesses within the Tourism and Hospitality industries, relevant government bodies and post secondary educators and trainers

Professional Learning

CASTT professional learning in 2012 will take on a new look. A series of training sessions will be offered. The introductory training will occur on February 25th at Adelaide Oval. In week 5 of each term there will be a tourism and hospitality skills based training session held at Pembroke School, Kensington- Details below.
